Located to the west of the Fog Forest lies an ancient woodland, far removed from human footprints, where giant trees stand like towering mountains. A seed of one such giant descended from the heavens, settling quietly into the moss-covered soil. As dawn and dusk cycled and time flowed like a murmuring stream, the seed sprouted and stretched. Eventually, it transformed into a colossal tree piercing the firmament, indistinguishable from its ancient kin. Its canopy propped up the clouds, while its roots—gnarled and intertwined—pierced through the topsoil, coiled around decaying beast bones and ancient bedrock, and extended ceaselessly toward the planet's core.
One day, clouds and mist shrouded the entire mountain forest, converging into a massive vortex. The swirling current was filled with chaotic power that gradually intensified. Space began to distort, creating fissures that tore at the boundary between the Void and the world. A breach connecting the two realms slowly opened, and chaotic energy from the Void erupted continuously from the rift.
Suddenly, a bolt of lightning shot out from the Void, striking the giant tree at the summit directly. A thunderous boom shook the valley as vast Void energy flowed down the thick trunk, surged into the roots, and infused the entire earth. That night, the forest and mountain range were bathed in a ghostly blue glow. It was not until early morning that the earth ceased its trembling and silence returned to all things. Yet, in the deepest depths of the underground, a faint light quietly ignited. Between the rock layers, a glimmer began to pulse like a heartbeat.
