Incessant warfare accelerated the ravages of the Black Death and other plagues, pushing the populace into the depths of despair. Meanwhile, nobles, desperate for immortality, launched a widespread manhunt for alchemists. In this chaotic era, many brilliant alchemists were forced into hiding, living a life of displacement to escape the clutches of those in power.

Among them was J, an alchemist with a background in medicine. Disgusted by the prevailing social hierarchy, he established a mysterious underground organization dedicated to saving the common people.

To evade capture, J donned the guise of a Plague Doctor to conceal his identity. However, human capabilities have their limits. Faced with the crushing dual pressure of treating the sick and evading the authorities, J found himself at a complete loss...

One night, as J lay overwhelmed by a sense of powerlessness, he drifted into a fitful sleep. Through the haze, he heard distant, low whispers and the dripping sound of viscous fluid. "It" appeared before him like a savior, promising that if J obeyed "Its" instructions, all would be well. In that moment, a dark pact was seemingly struck.

The following day, J skillfully utilized his Plague Doctor persona to traverse various towns. Using the mysterious monstrosities bestowed upon him by "It," he created numerous fantastical creatures to accomplish feats impossible for mere humans. J began to revel in the overwhelming dominion granted by this arcane power, and the reverence of the people, who now worshipped him as if he were a god.
