  • 1. Return & Exchange Policy

    According to consumer protection laws, online shopping offers a seven-day appreciation period; however, this is not a trial period. Returns are only accepted if the product is in its original, complete, and resellable condition, including packaging.

    Chuan Yi Workshop provides a "return only, no exchange" policy to streamline the process of obtaining a suitable product. If a product does not fit or does not meet personal expectations, please return it within 7 days of receipt and place a new order. This avoids delays caused by shipping back and forth.

    💡 Friendly Reminder: If there are excessive or continuous returns due to non-defective reasons, we may refuse future transactions and cancel membership to protect the rights of other customers. Please shop maturely and responsibly.

    2. Product Inspection & Defective Items

    Upon receiving your order, please immediately inspect the product. If you find damage or defects, contact us as soon as possible using the provided contact information.

    We offer free replacements for defective or damaged products, covering both return and reshipping costs (please note that international orders are not eligible for returns/exchanges). If your reason for return does not fall under this category, please refer to Sections 3 and 4.

    3. Returns Due to Personal Reasons

    If the return is for personal reasons (e.g., dislike of aesthetics, incorrect size selection, minor color differences, or non-defective craftsmanship details), the buyer must cover the return shipping costs.

    • Each order can only be returned once.

    • If you are a perfectionist or have high detail expectations, we recommend visiting our physical store instead.

    4. Non-Returnable Items

    Returns or exchanges will not be accepted in the following cases:

    • Damage, stains, missing parts, or wear caused by the customer.

    • Returning an item without prior notice.

    • Failure to report defects within 7 days of receipt.

    • The returned item is not in its original condition, including missing packaging, accessories, gifts, warranty cards, original manufacturer’s box, or any included documents.

    Please do not directly attach shipping labels or write on the original manufacturer’s packaging. If the original packaging is damaged or parts are missing, the return will be denied, as per Section 3.

    5. Lost Shipping Box for Returns

    If you have lost the outer shipping box, please repackage the product before sending it back. Do not apply labels or write on the original product packaging. If the original box is damaged or parts are missing, your return will be rejected.

    6. Size Confirmation

    Product dimensions are clearly stated on our website. Please double-check before placing an order. If you need assistance, feel free to contact our customer service team for guidance.

    7. About Color Differences

    We carefully photograph our products, but each handcrafted item is unique, so slight variations in color may occur. Additionally, lighting conditions, screen settings, and photography angles may affect how colors appear.

    We minimize color discrepancies, but some differences are inevitable. This does not count as a defect. If you are highly sensitive to color differences, please consider visiting our physical store before purchasing to ensure the product meets your expectations.

    8. Pre-Order Shipping Schedule

    Shipping times for pre-order items are listed on the product page. Delays may occur due to natural disasters, unforeseen circumstances (e.g., COVID-19 lockdowns, typhoons, earthquakes), or public holidays (e.g., Chinese New Year, Mid-Autumn Festival, New Year’s Day).

    • If early shipment is possible, we will notify customers in advance.

    • If you cannot accept shipping delays, please do not place a pre-order.

    • Cancellation of pre-orders or failure to pick up cash-on-delivery (COD) orders will result in a permanent ban from future purchases.

    9. Refund Policy

    • Credit Card Payments: Once returned items are received and verified, refunds will be processed as a direct cancellation of the credit card transaction. The actual refund date will depend on your card issuer’s policies.

    • Other Payment Methods: You must provide a valid bank account number to process the refund.

    • Refunds will be processed within 10 days after confirming eligibility.
